TEETH

megalodon shark tooth fossil mako great white benedini thresher tiger snaggletooth chubutensis

TEETH

Shark skeletons are cartilaginous instead of bony and are too soft to remain intact to become fossilized; the skeletons quickly dissolve into their component chemicals.  Their teeth, however, are dispersed by currents and tides, but are hard enough to survive the millennia.

As these teeth are fossils and anywhere between 2 - 50 million years old, we like to keep them natural (only cleaning off the coral and encrustation with vinegar) and not drilling holes into them or covering them in any way with lots of metal.

In addition to Megalodon teeth, we also find and offer for sale extinct giant mako shark teeth, extinct great white shark teeth, extinct snaggle tooth shark teeth, and extinct tiger shark teeth.

Buy yours now - cleaned or uncleaned in our Etsy Shop!
